Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium natural stone paving and delivery services.
How do I calculate how much paving I need for my project?
To calculate the required amount, measure the length and width of your area in meters and multiply them to get the total square footage. We recommend adding a 10% 'wastage' buffer to account for cuts, breakages, and future repairs.
What are your delivery options and lead times?
We offer standard delivery across the UK, typically arriving within 3-5 working days. Express delivery is available for most postcodes. Please note that natural stone is heavy and will be delivered via a tail-lift vehicle to the nearest kerbside.
Are there color variations in the natural stone slabs?
Yes, as natural stone is a quarried product, variations in color, texture, and veining are inherent characteristics. We recommend mixing slabs from different crates during installation to ensure a consistent and balanced aesthetic across your patio.
Do I need to seal my stone paving after installation?
While not mandatory, we highly recommend sealing natural stone to protect it from staining, algae growth, and weathering. It is best to wait at least 2-3 months after installation to allow any natural efflorescence to escape before applying a sealant.
What is your return policy for over-ordered items?
We accept returns of full, unopened crates within 14 days of delivery. Please note that the customer is responsible for the return haulage costs, and a restocking fee may apply. We cannot accept returns for individual loose slabs or 'leftover' pieces.
Can I request a sample before placing a full order?
Absolutely. We provide a sample service so you can see the texture and color of the stone in person. Samples are typically 10x10cm or 15x15cm offcuts and are shipped via standard post.
